Professional Literacy Indigenous Languages

Question: Discuss about the Professional Literacy for Indigenous Languages. Answer: Introduction: Here we will talk about how actually we can make sure that our children learn more proper grammar and use of verbs. The author has made sure that we learn the purpose of grammar in our daily life and the meaning of the article is in depth which has been explained as follows. In this world where there are a lot of rules, there are the ones for our kids which need to be seen. We should make sure that we are imparting the right ones and for this only there are a few things. The grammatical knowledge that can actually make sure that the quality of childrens reading and writing is enhanced to such a great level. There are four main things which can actually increase the kids literacy immediately. The author has mentioned her purpose really clearly that its actually our duty to make sure that we stop telling the kids that verbs are only doing words because they are much more than that. From the verbs telling us whats happening, they can also tell when its happening. And moreover its not always just one word. Thus this kind of knowledge will help the kids to grow a lot and make sure that there is an enhancement in their knowledge. (Adoniou, 2014) Also if secondly if we are explaining anything to the kids we should make sure that we are explaining errors to them not just telling that you are wrong. Because this will only make all the difference as this helps them to enter the insider knowledge. Whenever there is a new concept, term which is enquired by them, makes sure you are actually increasing their knowledge by extending and relating the same with other things, extend their horizon of information and they can use it further. Also in end she has mentioned deeply that- analyzing the use of verbs in the story of the child is a must because there should always be dynamism in the same. Because with the use of verbs of being there should be a variety and they should be able to use the same in their speaking as well. The last and the most important point to conclude is also that be creative, dramatic as much as you can because that only helps to make sure that there is nothing boring in grammar. SBS VIVE LAND Produce, 2015 has made these video- Indigenous languages added to syllabus I The Feed. They have categorically mentioned that Indigenous languages have actually found place in the school tables. The video is clearly aimed at making sure that these languages get a priority in syllabus of the students. They might be the oldest ones but the newest one to be taught in the school. (SBS VIVE LAND Produce, 2015) Indigenous languages are taught in Australia but there are a very few who all are actually teaching all the languages which indigenous in nature. Moreover there is a dire need of having the indigenous languages taught in the schools of Australia. Indigenous languages which comprises of the major chunk is something which should be taught to the Australian students. Moreover because of the same, there should be a proper set of guidelines for the childrens who will be interested in studying indigenous languages as their second language. There are schools who have taken this route for teaching the languages in schools but due to the absence of the same in the national syllabi of the schools there, it becomes difficult. Moreover the schools have also taken the initiative to make sure that you can also take it as your second language as well. Australia is a land where the indigenous languages are a very part of their daily lives. There is three parts to this- the students with their first language as an indigenous language. Others who want to have their second language as their second language. With seven thousand languages in place across the world, they can get lost because of the lack of teaching of indigenous language. For the revival of indigenous languages, there should be a proper planning of national curriculum. Once they are rolled out in schools, it will make possible for them to retain these languages. Only 270 schools only teach these languages, and this makes us have the dire need of these languages being taught in Australia. There are schools who have taken this route for teaching the languages in schools but due to the absence of the same in the national syllabi. But we need to make sure that there is some change in these syllabi, else there will be a sad death of these languages. What a great event it can be if we all have your support. In turn the past months preparation will show its results. And we wish luck and thank all the students to put in their hard work in this event which will be live for all of you next week. You are multi- talented children with great management skills. Good Evening to both of you I must say that you both as a couple, have done exceptionally well in making sure the students of school never suffer any issue and can sail off real well in their studies. Your son John who had recently met with an accident during the football match had a hairline fracture. And because of all this he had to suffer a lot in his studies. But hats off to you both who made sure that he is taken care of and attends classes daily. I must say he has been doing great in school with this leg and moreover has not left any confidence in himself. His concentration is as good as it was earlier and has been keeping a track of all his assignments, class tests and much more. Moreover, I would like to mention it to you Sir, he has been doing a great in learning and developing new class projects in science which requires a lot of efforts but still he has been doing great. I would sincerely thank the child and you both for putting in lots of efforts. We the teacher community really feel, that students performance in school is also the result of his efforts and environment at home and we can certainly see that there is a lot of support not just in studies but in sports also. John is a great player and is an excellent obedient student who makes sure he is timely in submissions and is responsive in his class. From being his class teacher, I have seen his growth and he has been giving good results also with great record in sports and at such a small age also, he is making sure that he practices for his path of future. Moreover these injuries are a part of his journey and he understands this as well. And that is why he has taken this in a great spirit. References Adoniou, M. 2014.
